Class Information

Ocean and Rain Lu are professionally-trained Chinese Ethnic and Classical dancers, who have many years of professional trainings and experiences in performing, teaching and Choreography. Ocean and Rain are very devoted to promoting Chinese dance arts, they are determined to introduce the real beauty of Chinese performing arts.

Children’s dance class:

Ocean and Rain Lu are the certified Chinese dance teachers of Beijing Dance Academy Chinese Dance Examination syllabus (CDES). The BC Ministry of Education will award CDES students with a total of 12 credits to meet their fine arts and/or applied skills graduation requirement. This is indeed good news, and allows Syllabus students to earn even more credits toward their high school graduation. The exams will be held at the end of June of 2010.

Beginning September 1, 2008, the BC Ministry of Education will award Chinese Dance Syllabus students with a total of 12 credits to meet their fine arts and/or applied skills graduation requirement. These credits are awarded upon successful completion of the Chinese Dance Syllabus as follows:

4 credits for completing CDES 7 at the high school Grade 10 level,

4 credits for completing CDES 8 at the high school Grade 11 level, and

4 credits for completing CDES 9 at the high school Grade 12 level.

This is indeed good news, and allows Syllabus students to earn even more credits towards their high school graduation. Prospective students with no dance experience should enroll in the Syllabus at an early age to ensure that they can reach the CDES 7 level by the time they are in high school grade 7. Students with dance background (ballet or Chinese dance) can be streamed into the Syllabus program depending on experience.

20-30张票： $6.00/张/次（每个星期两次，可以跳3-4个月，）

40-60张票： $5.00/张/次（每个星期两次，可以跳半年左右）

年票: $300.00（unlimited）, you can bring two friends for free

Chinese Brush Paint Class: Chinese Brush Painting : Accomplished Chinese -Canadian artist Andy Lou will demonstrate both traditional and contemporary techniques on Chinese Brush Painting, step by step in a relaxed method.
